Please join LPSC for a fun concert on July 19th, 4 pm to 6pm at Channel Islands Harbor Park, 3850 Harbor Blvd, Oxnard.  The park is on the west side of the harbor near the maritime museum and there is plenty of free parking!  If you plan to attend, please text Angela so we can all sit together! 

Ashford Gordon carries the torch of Contemporary Blues with deep roots in the rich musical heritage of Starkville, Mississippi. His sound is a living testament to the Hill Country blues of northeastern Mississippi, shaped further by the electrifying pulse of 1950s Rhythm & Blues from the Pruitt-Igoe Projects in St. Louis.  Gordon’s artistry was nurtured during his formative years in the San Francisco Bay Area, where he was immersed in a vibrant blend of Blues and Gospel. His music weaves together these powerful influences, creating a voice that is at once timeless and urgently modern—a true standard-bearer for the next generation of the Blues.
