General Meeting Location:  At the PBYC Clubhouse, 1363 Spinnaker Dr, Ventura 93001

Join us for a gorgeous autumn weekend in the charming mountain village of Idyllwild! Whether you are roughing it in a tent, rolling in with an RV, or looking for a cozy bed at a local lodge, we have a spot for you.

Lodging Options:

  • CAMPERS:  We have reserved 4 RV hookup sites and 1 tent site at the Idyllwild State Park Campground.  You will need to complete the attached form and provide payment to secure one of those sites.
  • HOTEL/HOUSE RENTERS: If you prefer four walls and a roof, you can grab a local hotel or help group up for a house rental. For example,

– Booking.com had a 3 bedroom house (seven beds) for $942.00

– Idyllwild Inn – We highly recommend this lodging as it is a short walk to the campground and to restaurants and shopping in the village center.

–Tahquitz Pines Retreat, Idyllwild – It is a mile of two away, but it’s a resort with sports courts, pickleball, horseshoes, swimming pool, rec room.  They also have their own restaurant.

– Deer Lane Lodge, Idyllwild

Weekend Highlights & Activities:  There are an incredible mix of relaxing and adventurous things to do right from our camp base:

  • Hiking & Biking: Hit the trails right out of the back of our campground into the San Jacinto mountains, or cruise around on the local bike paths.
  • Village Vibes: Explore the village’s excellent dining spots, local breweries, public art installations, and the Art Walk galleries.
  • Sightseeing & History: Catch climbers scaling the famous Tahquitz Rock, take a scenic drive up to Indian Vista Scenic Overlook, or browse the Idyllwild Area Historical Society Museum.
  • Lakeside Picnics: Relax amongst the pines or do some trout fishing at Lake Fulmor.
  • Wine & Festive Fun: Sip local blends at Middle Ridge Winery. While the town’s official Rustic Theatre Oktoberfest takes place earlier in the month, we will keep an eye out for residual autumn celebrations and local events happening during our weekend!
  • Local Guide: For a full breakdown of local eats and shops, check out the digital Idyllwild Visitor’s Guide.
  • Group Dinner:  A group dinner is planned at the campsite on Saturday evening.
