Welcome to  the Chumash Casino and Museum day trip on Friday, 8/8/25.

We will meet up with Angela, our trip coordinator, at 8:45 am in front of the Burlington coat factory at 4762 Telephone Rd., Ventura, in the WinCo Shopping Plaza. The bus will promptly leave at 9:00 am. The bus ticket costs $40, and in return you will get $40 in gambling/shopping money to use at the Casino. There is a bathroom on the air conditioned bus.   

We will arrive at the Casino between 10:00 and 10:30, at which time we walk to the Chumash Museum, which costs $12 to enter. The museum has indoor and outdoor exhibits and can involve a lot of walking because it is a large museum. We suggest comfortable walking shoes and sun protection.. The suggested visitation time is 90 minutes. We can arrange to meet at the museum’s entrance 90 minutes after we get in.

After the Museum tour, let’s have lunch at the Casino which has a food court or some other nearby eatery.  

After lunch you will have time to gamble with the $40 gambling/shopping money which is included in your shuttle ticket included, or shopping.  The shuttle departs the Casino at 4:30 pm.  We can expect to arrive in Ventura between 5:30 to 6:00 PM.
