Impressionist Revolution Art Exhibit Trip January 14th

Join us on Wednesday, January 14, 2026, 11:00 am at the Santa Barbara Museum of Art to view the exhibit: The Impressionist Revolution: Monet to Matisse. This exhibit from the Dallas Museum of Art consists of 17 pieces of Impressionist Art from Monet to Matisse.  We expect this event to sell out fast, so you need to buy your ticket online at (click here: TICKETS for Monet to Matisse ) and select Jan 14 at 11:00am.  The cost for seniors is $25 and includes general admission. After enjoying the Impressionist exhibit we have time for a group lunch nearby.  There is much we can do afterwards in the 4-block area around the museum. To get there, you have 2 options: take the VC Coastal Route bus #80 with Angela or drive/carpool.

• If you wish to take VC Coastal Route bus #82 with Angela, meet her by 9:30am at the Ventura Transit Center at Telegraph & Mills, at the north end of the Mall, north of Ross, Dress for Less.  Allow time to park and there is plenty of free parking near the bus stop.  Cost is only $2.00 each way ($4.00 total), and have exact change. The bus will provide an extra adventure of riding the bus and viewing things from a different perspective. We plan to return on the 3:37pm bus which will get you back to The Ventura Transit Center at 4:55pm.
• If you drive, we suggest you create your own carpools and be at the museum entrance by 10:50am.  There are several parking garages and lots nearby, so allow time to park and get to the museum.
